ILLUMINARIUM

Projektil partnered with Miteinander and Montagsmarkt to create a magical Christmas paradise. An enchanting surrounding of light and sound in Zürich.

ILLUMINARIUM created a festive 3D winter wonder world onto the facades of the Swiss National Museum, the Landesmuseum in Zurich, taking more than 50.000 visitors to a magical concert of the Giuseppe Verdi opera La Traviata in an enchanting surrounding of light and sound. The music was performed and orchestrated by no other than Yuki and her friends.

These magical beasts led by Yuki were not only performing their very particular version of such a memorable piece of music at our Wonderland area. They were also present in many interactive installations for the enjoyment of the younger visitors. These were complemented by laser and light installations that tricked the eye and sparked the imagination for a new kind of Christmas market experience.

Meanwhile, our partners turned the courtyard into the epicenter of culinary delight. Before, during and after the show guests were offered the chance to hang out there to warm up, enjoy very special food and drinks, meet with friends or just dive further into the world of illumination with wintry beats.

Inside the ILLUMINARIUM, a large indoor space offered a lot of space for dark winter nights, a cocktail bar with illuminated drinks and a large choice of seasonal food offers and food stalls. A translucent Fondue Palace situated in the inner courtyard of the Swiss National Museum completes the charming scenery.

A real feast for the senses!
