This year, the Grand Hotel Quellenhof is celebrating a milestone – its 150th anniversary. And what better way to commemorate this occasion than to usher in a new era with a spectacular show? After just five months of construction, the completely renovated luxury hotel once again opened its doors in July 2019.

On the night of the grand opening, the public was treated to an extraordinary video mapping show on the time-honored but now reconditioned façade of the building. The immersive spectacle delved into the topics close to the heart of the hotel – the naturally heated water (“The Blue Gold of Bad Ragaz”), the renowned thermal spa, and the award-winning GaultMillau and Michelin distinguished restaurants.

As the show reached its crescendo, the sky above the hotel exploded into a mesmerizing display of colors – a stunning fireworks extravaganza that illuminated the night sky. And as the echoes of the last firework died down, the guests were serenaded by the enchanting voice of soprano Christine Zoller, whose performance added a touch of magic to the already spellbinding atmosphere.

It was a night to remember – a celebration of the past, present, and future of the Grand Hotel Quellenhof, and a testimony to the enduring spirit of Bad Ragaz.
